  I had to modify my initial review. Visited this place with my family prior to opening night for Avengers. To put it simply, the service ruined our happy day. The hostess was so rude multiple times. I’m still so pissed but their food rocks. Won’t be going there anymore

  Love going to the Country House! Great food and spirits! Darker atmosphere which I like come evening. Pretty good size menu, ranging from appetizers to full course dinners. Can't go wrong with their burger selection, including a side or their fish dinners.

  Have eaten here for at least 30 years. Obviously, the food is well above average. Lately though, especially tonight, the service has declined noticeably. The "hostess" and our waitress in the bar area were rude beyond belief! And on other recent visits, the servers have been very slow, indifferent and just kind of snarky. What's happening Country House? I am sad. I guess I have to travel to Lisle now. Please bring your "A" game back , please.
